Control is the latest mind-bending thriller from Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind games like Alan Wake and Quantum Break. Reviews have been largely positive, but how long can you expect the experience to last?
According to GameSpot's review staff, completing the main quest in Control will take roughly 15 hours, if you don't participate in many side-quests. If you take on lots of side-quests or scour the various hidden documents, that estimate would go up, so 15 hours is around the minimum you can expect.

Now Playing: Control Video Review
Control currently has a generally positive review score on GameSpot sister site Metacritic, and GameSpot's own Control review was similarly complimentary. Reviewer Peter Brown praised the game's gorgeous art style and stylish combat, while also noting that it introduces complex, thought-provoking concepts.
"It's not often that a game invades my thoughts the way Control has," Brown wrote. "I'm at the point where I want to consume every last thing it has to offer. And if I'm honest, it also makes me want to go back and replay Remedy's past games, too. Sure, it's a faulty metroidvania in some respects, but there are so many exceptional qualities afoot that Control handily deflects any momentary ire. I can't wait to take part in discussions about the game, to see what others have figured out, and to better understand where it all fits into Jesse's story."
If you're considering picking up Control, the game is already on sale at Amazon and Walmart. The PS4 version is $50.94 and the Xbox One version for $49.94.
