ConnectivCorp completes Majesco merger
ConnectivCorp completes Majesco merger-October 2024
Oct 22, 2024 12:25 AM

Today, ConnectivCorp and game publisher Majesco announced the completion of their previously announced merger. Under terms of the merger agreement, Majesco will continue its operations as a wholly owned subsidiary of ConnectivCorp, which will still trade under the symbol CTTV. However, the new company is planning to change its name to Majesco Holdings, Inc., and receive a new symbol. Before the merger, Majesco was privately owned. Its annual revenues were around $50 million.

Personnel-wise, Jesse Sutton, the current Majesco president, took over as ConnectivCorp's Chief Executive Officer, with Morris Sutton becoming its chairman. "The advantages of this merger and having access to the public markets will enable Majesco to raise its profile, and secure additional funding to enhance its product lineup and expand its product development capabilities," said Morris Sutton in a statement.

Although the press release did not mention whether they had a new role in the company, former ConnectivCorp CEO Elliot Goldman and chairman Robert Ellit had good things to say about the merger. "We are extremely pleased and proud that ConnectivCorp was able to finalize a merger with a company having the successful past and bright future of Majesco," the two said in a joint statement. No other announcements regarding layoffs or other consolidation moves were made.
