One of the unconfirmed rumors is that one of the alleged killers, Eric Harris was a die-hard Doom fan who ran a web site where he hosted various Doom mods. While nothing has been proven to far, recent pictures on CNN clearly show two novels based on Doom in a clear evidence bag from Harris' personal belongings.

While we're hoping to not have gaming in the media again after the last lawsuit brought forth by a group of Kentucky parents - this may be the direction this situation is going.
