Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi have "moved on" from All Elite Wrestling, a company they helped found just three years ago. Cody was in-ring talent as well as executive vice president with Brandi having the position of the chief brand officer.
Tony Khan, CEO of AEW, commented this morning about their departure and wished the couple the best after thanking them for their contributions to the company.

"Cody and Brandi Rhodes were integral to the launch of All Elite Wrestling," Khan's statement says. "Cody's ability combined with his boldness and his passion for our industry and his love for community outreach helped AEW deliver our mission to give fans what they needed for far too long--something new, innovative, and lasting."
Khan also complimented Brandi on her helping AEW with civic causes and with inclusion to all wrestling fans.
"I have immense respect and appreciation for Cody and Brandi, and I wish them both the best as they move on from AEW," Khan continued.
Cody released his own statement Tuesday morning on his Twitter, which he had been using recently for AEW's Community Outreach projects, saying that he was thankful and how lucky he has felt to being part of it all.

"I have loved my time at AEW," he said. "Amazing locker room. Amazing fans. Amazing people. The revolution was indeed televised and I've been incredibly lucky enough to be a part of it."
Cody firstly thanked Tony Khan and how he's "taken the baton and ran with it." He thanked Matt and Nick Jackson, Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, as well as the production crew and the stars on the rise like Darby Allin, Jade Cargill, and MJF.
"I have so many milestones and beautiful memories of this renaissance," Rhodes continued. "Everything fails in comparison to the final contribution I was empowered to lead at the company, the community outreach team." He states he is leaving Amanda Huber, widow of the late Jon Huber AKA Brodie Lee, as head of that department.
"Thank you, fans. Y'all did the work. Let's live forever," he concluded.
It was reported that initial AEW contracts were for three years across the board. AEW extended its relationship with WarnerMedia until 2023, renewing both Dynamite and Rampage, both on TBS now. There have been a few stars who signed with AEW at the beginning who have started taking independent bookings and others have been released from their contracts already.
AEW is a different product and look from when it started back in 2019, especially having signed Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, Keith Lee, and internet sensation Danhausen just in the span of a few months. Fans might not have to wait long to see where the Rhodes end up next.
