Destiny 2 features a way for fans to redeem codes in order to obtain in-game cosmetic items like emblems and shaders. Bungie regularly releases promo codes, often aligning with events or celebrations. Most of these codes remain valid for a specific period of time, but some might never expire. There are also certain rewards that will be limited to specific seasons of the game itself. Generally speaking, it's best to check regularly for new codes, as many will be announced to little fanfare and can easily be missed.
Just below we've listed all the working Destiny 2 codes available at the time of writing, allowing you to redeem all of the available free emblems, shaders, and more.
25 March 2024 Update - We've uploaded several new free emblem codes.
Destiny 2 codes are released via the game’s social media handles, official blog, and more.
The below list of codes are all working at the time of writing and are universal codes available to all Destiny 2 players. At the time of writing, there are 35 Universal Emblem codes for Destiny 2.
Do note, this list does not include Emblem codes which are unlocked by special offers, quests, and purchases on the Bungie Store (more on those further down).
These emblems are only available for a short period of time, so grab them whilst you still can.
These emblems will only be available during Season 23 (Season of the Wish), which started on 28 November 2023 and will end on 4 June 2024.
TK7-D3P-FDF - Redeem for the 'Pride Celebration' emote.
At the time of writing, there are no free Destiny 2 Shader Codes available.
Some websites mention that you can download the three shaders mentioned below. However, all three of the shaders are for Destiny 1. You cannot use them in Destiny 2.
Seraphim's Gauntlets Shader Double Banshee Shader Oracle 99 Shader
R9J-79M-J6C - Redeem for 'End of the Rainbow' transmat effect (seen below).
If you are new to the game and don’t know how to redeem Destiny 2 codes, we have listed below the steps that you can follow to claim free rewards:
Copy a code from the above list and go to the official Bungie Code Redemption website.
Login to your account and paste your code in the section.
Click on the Redeem button to claim your free reward.
Somewhat surprisingly some players Google ‘How do I use expired Destiny 2 codes’ but sorry, once they've expired they can no longer be used.
Regardless, you didn't think we were going to list them all here, did you Madness.
That would be far too many to list since there are currently over 750 Emblems in Destiny 2 and over 500 that are no longer available in Destiny 2.
If you'd like to take a look at them, we suggest heading over to the Destiny Emblem Collector website, by following the link.
