Codemasters revealed today that it has secured the PAL publishing rights to Worms 4: Mayhem. The game is being developed by Team 17 and will be available on the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC sometime this spring. In Worms 4: Mayhem, limbless soldiers battle one another with myriad weapons, including exploding chickens, toilet bombs, and an all-new create-a-weapon feature. Worm customization is a first for the series, allowing gamers to choose the look and parting words of their invertebrates. Annelids duke it out over 25 missions in the campaign mode, and an additional 20 maps are available in multiplayer mode. Worms 4: Mayhem has not yet been announced for North America.
