Like putting a chocolate bar in front of a fat kid and telling him not to eat it, Nintendo Australia has been taunting Aussie customers with invites to join the Aussie chapter of Club Nintendo, despite the service not even being open. Well as of yesterday that changed, with Nintendo opening the virtual doors to the local-arm of the fraternity.
Once you've filled out the brief registration form, you'll be able to register the serial codes that have come with recent Nintendo products and use those as a currency to get exclusive goodies straight from Mario's warehouse. The only catch is, when you register your product, you have to fill out a short survey on the game.
There's currently five different items in th Stars Catalogue for loyal Nintendo fans to choose from, ranging from a suave Mario face towel, to a copy of Game & Watch Collection for the Nintendo DS.
Anyone whose super keen to get their Nintendo souvenirs now will sadly have to wait a little bit longer, with shipments scheduled to start in April.
