Eidos has announced that the video game incarnation of Chicken Run will be released for the Dreamcast, along with the already announced PC and PlayStation versions. The popular claymation film Chicken Run is in the process of being converted to a video game by Blitz Games, and it will be published by Eidos. Although there are very few gameplay details available, the company describes the game as "Tenchu, but with chickens."
"We are delighted to have extended our deal to publish the video game based on Chicken Run," said Mike McGarvey, COO of Eidos. "As we expected, the film has been a massive success, and we hope that the game will do just as well."
Chicken Run the video game will be released later this year.
