The final design of the custom Crackdown 3 Xbox One controller has been revealed. Posting on the game's website, Crackdown 3 senior art director Dave Johnson talked about the inspiration for the game's logo, which is featured prominently on the controller.

　　"The logo doubles as the badge of the Agency, and we worked to retain that iconic design while updating it to match the bold new direction we're taking the franchise," he said.

　　Only a "small, limited batch" of these Crackdown 3 controllers will be made. They won't be put on sale for general purchase; instead, the only way to get one (with your Gamertag inscribed on it) is to win a giveaway or contest; these will be announced through Crackdown's website and social channels.

　　Microsoft has been teasing this Crackdown 3 Xbox One controller for months now.

　　Crackdown 3's release date has been narrowed it down to summer 2016. Microsoft has clarified that the entirety of the game won't be available at that time, however. Instead, just the multiplayer will be playable in that window. In addition, the game's cloud-based destruction technology is a multiplayer-only feature.

　　The game has been confirmed only for Xbox One so far, but a PC edition has not been ruled out.
