Capcom of Japan Matching Service, which launched April 1, was designed to let gamers play fighting games over its network. Currently, the fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for the Sega Dreamcast is playable within this service. Unfortunately, the new service launched with problems, displaying errors when gamers logged on to the network and causing much frustration. Capcom is working around the clock to remedy the problem, and the company will hopefully deliver a more stable network service in the near future. Other titles from Capcom, such as Power Stone 2, Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, and SNK vs. Capcom, will be playable across the network under the Matching Service in the coming months.
