Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun has reported that Capcom is planning to announce a game sometime in November with the unnamed title releasing in 1999. Since Capcom has officially jumped on the development track for the Dreamcast, this will likely open the floodgates for other big publishers to announce titles, like Konami, etc.
Not much information has been released about the title, but it may be a continuation of the Biohazard (Resident Evil) series of which 4.7 million copies have been sold. Also, the new title will be compatible with new functions of the Dreamcast such as a vibration controller (Sega has not officially announced a vibration-enabled controller) and 3D graphics. Capcom has already started testing the program using certain machines from Sega. It also plans to make five or six additional titles after the first one. And a set of 24 serial titles is going to be for the Dreamcast along with another title for the Nintendo 64.
