Capcom promises to update us on the timing of the beta tests soon, so hopefully everything will go smoothly and the internal tests will bare fruit in creating a great experience for us.

Capcom has issued a statement regarding the postponement of the Street Fighter V Beta

Capcom offers its sincerest apologies to everyone who participated in this first beta test. While the purpose of a beta is to work out these type of issues, it was very clear that the issues we faced were more severe than we were prepared for. After three days of testing, while we were making progress and collecting valuable data, we felt the majority of players were not having a good experience, and the best course of action would be to take the servers offline for extended maintenance. We will be postponing our first beta phase until we believe the experience is going to be a positive one for players.

Capcom has recently revealed Vega for Street Fighter V, and the iconic Spaniard looks quite sharp in the latest iteration of the Street Fighter franchise. Previously they revealed a new character for Street Fighter V at EVO 2015, named Necalli. Necalli is a newcomer to the Street Fighter series and he seems to be a quite interesting addition to the expanding roster.

Street Fighter V is built on the Unreal Engine 4 and will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 and PC in Q1 2016. We will bring you any new information on Street Fighter V, as soon as it becomes available.
