According to the latest edition of Japan's games magazine Famitsu, Ace Attorney 6 will be playable during the Tokyo Games Show, which runs from September 17 to 20. That gives Capcom just a little over two weeks to announce the project officially; GameSpot has contacted the company for clarification.
[Update: Capcom has confirmed to GameSpot that the reveal in Famitsu is genuine. The publisher said: "Ace Attorney 6 (working title) will be coming to the west. We’ll have more information on the Western release soon."]
Kotaku, which has translated the Famitsu story, claims that the sixth main instalment in the Ace Attorney series will feature a new system that "enables quicker gameplay," though specifics have not been disclosed.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney first shipped almost ten years ago, in October 2005, and was lauded by critics upon release. GameSpot's Ace attorney review explained that the game was "unique and wonderfully capitalizes on the DS touch screen and microphone functionality."
