Last month, artwork for the next entry in the Call of Duty series, called Call of Duty WWII, emerged online, confirming how the series is really going back to its roots. Today, Activision officially confirmed the game and when more information will be available.
The Call of Duty WWII full reveal will take place on April 26 at 10AM Pacific / 1PM Eastern on callofduty.com. As expected, the game is indeed in development by Sledgehammer Games, the team behind Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.

As already mentioned, it's been known for some time that Call of Duty would be going back to its roots with this year's entry.
