With just one month to go before Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's release, Sledgehammer Games has now confirmed that 13 multiplayer maps will be available for the game right out of the gate for all players. Co-founder Michael Condrey confirmed the news on Twitter.
Gamers who pick up any of the game's collector's editions or buy the DLC season pass will score an extra map at launch, Atlas Gorge. This map is a reimagined version of the Pipeline map from 2007's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Condrey also confirmed that the Emblem Editor--featured in past Call of Duty games--will return for Advanced Warfare. Not only will you be able to create and customize your emblem, but it will actually appear in-game on your soldier's exoskeleton suit.
"One of the biggest goals during the development of this game was to listen to you, the Call of Duty community," the developer wrote on its website. "We wanted to give the fans the opportunity to show off their personality in the virtual lobby and in multiplayer matches."
Advanced Warfare officially launches November 4 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. However, if you preorder the game, you'll be automatically upgraded to the Day Zero edition, which will let you play the game on November 3, a full day early.
