Sledgehammer Games will release the biggest title update to date for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare this week, featuring weapon balancing adjustments, bug fixes, and exploit removals, among other things.
"This week we're rolling out our biggest title update yet with a ton of exciting enhancements for Advanced Warfare coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, with similar changes coming to the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 soon," Sledgehammer said on its website.
"We've included weapon balancing tweaks, fixes and improvements for emblems, improvements within the Player Lobby (including a new way to view your Armory), map exploit fixes, spawn improvements, connectivity optimizations, improvements to our anti-cheat measures, and even more."
You can see the full patch notes--it's a long, long list--at the Advanced Warfare website here.
Advanced Warfare was released one month ago today. Though official sales numbers have not been announced, Activision says the game is selling better than 2013's Call of Duty: Ghosts. It has also become 2014's "biggest entertainment launch" so far, outpacing all other movies and games.
"It's been exactly one month since we've launched Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and it has been an amazing time celebrating with fans," Sledgehammer said. "It's been so much fun playing the game in the wild and watching the community surprise us with new ways to play as the Advanced Soldier. We also used this time as an opportunity to focus on the little things that would make a big difference to our community. Since day one, we've had consistent online uptime stability and global dedicated server coverage, and we've rolled out several important updates to make the game even better."
