Call of Duty Infinite Warfare will launch in around two months on PC and consoles, but those who prefer the classic entries of the series with their realistic setting are definitely more excited to be able to play Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Remastered, also coming to PC and consoles this November. If you onw an Xbox One console, and you're craving for some old school Call of Duty action, you will be happy to know that an older entry of the series can now be played on Microsoft's home console.

　　Starting today, Call of Duty 3 can be played on Xbox One through Backward Compatibility. The game can currently be purchased on the Xbox Store for the price of $19.99

　　As already mentioned, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Remastered will be released this November alongside Call of Duty Infinite Warfare on PC and consoles. Shortly after the announcement, Activision confirmed that Modern Warare Remastered is only going to be available as part of some of the Infinite Warfare special editions, but it's been hinted by Game Director David Pellas that the game might eventually become available for purchase as a standalone titles.
