Head Games Publishing - acquired last week by Activision - has announced that it is now shipping an expansion pack for hunting sim Cabela's Big Game Hunter. The title has sold one-quarter of a million copies since its release in April, according to Head Games.
The Special Permit expansion features 23 hunting stands, the opportunity to hunt in a "new world," nine new weapons, several camps, a new target range, and new equipment.
Head Games also has agreements in the works to bring to market games based on licenses from gun-maker Remington and waterfowl and wetlands conservation group Ducks Unlimited.
