Virgin Interactive has signed an agreement with Capcom that allows it to publish a PC version of Capcom's action-adventure game Resident Evil in the US. Originally released for the PlayStation last year, Resident Evil for Windows 95 will be available in late August.
Like fans of the PlayStation version, PC gamers can expect to experience the same ghoulish 3-D graphics and horrific storyline - exploring a creepy mansion where they must solve mysteries and defend themselves from creatures like acid-spitting zombies, mutant dogs, and killer crows, while trying to find their missing comrades.
The game will support 3-D graphics accelerators, including those from Rendition, 3Dfx Interactive, and PowerVR.
