Russia-based Buka Entertainment has today announced that it will be showing a number of its games at China Joy 2004, China's first entertainment exhibition, on January 16-18. At its booth, Buka's lineup for the show will include many titles that have already been licensed to Chinese publishing houses.
"Buka has a strong commitment to China," said Igor Ustinov, Buka's president. "Our mission in China now is to make Buka's brand more visible to the local gaming community and to gain attention of the potential partners. Buka is dedicated to strengthen win-win cooperation with local partners and to establish reliable ties within the Chinese gaming industry."
Buka Entertainment is currently preparing to open an office in Beijing, from which it will handle the Chinese localization, marketing, and promotion of its titles.
