The Mummy star Brendan Fraser has signed on to appear in Martin Scorsese's new period drama, Killers of the Flower Moon, as well as Palm Springs director Max Barbakow's new film, Brothers.
Killers of the Flower Moon takes place in 1920s Oklahoma and tells the story of the systematic murder of members of the Osage Nation. Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Jesse Plemons star in the movie, which is coming to Apple TV+.
According to Deadline, Fraser will play the lawyer WS Hamilton in Killers of the Flower Moon.
As for Brothers, it's comedy that already has Peter Dinklage, Josh Brolin, and Glenn Close in the cast and is currently in production in Atlanta. It has a lot of eyes on it after Barbakow's Palm Springs--starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti--was a hit with critics.
Fraser's last big project was No Sudden Move, a thriller from director Steven Soderbergh. Fraser is also lined up to appear in Oscar-nominated director Darren Aronofsky's new movie, The Whale. Fraser also stars on HBO Max's Doom Patrol as Cliff Steele.
