Breed gets Nvidia seal of approval
Breed gets Nvidia seal of approval-October 2024
Oct 28, 2024 12:18 AM

CDV Software Entertainment has today announced that the PC version of Breed, which is currently in development at Brat Designs, is the latest game to be signed up for Nvidia's "The Way It's Meant To Be Played" program. The program is designed to showcase the best PC games that take advantage of the hardware features of Nvidia's GeForce technology.

"We believe in championing developers and giving them whatever support they need to create the very best PC games possible," said Darryl Still, head of developer relations for Nvidia in Europe. "We have been liaising with Brat Designs on Breed for some months now, and the game is shaping up to be one of this year's groundbreaking titles."

Breed is a first-person shooter that, like Bungie's Halo, will see humans battling against aliens using vehicles and weapons. The game has been developed to take full advantage of next-generation hardware and graphics cards, and, as such, it will feature multitexturing, soft shadowing, reflection mapping, and real-time adjusted "time of day" lighting in its expansive environments.
