Blasphemous 2 - Last Chance To Save Big On Preorders
Blasphemous 2 - Last Chance To Save Big On Preorders-January 2024
Jan 17, 2025 9:05 PM

Blasphemous quickly became a fan-favorite metroidvania when it was first released back in 2019. Four years later, a sequel is finally ready to transport players back to a land of heretical dark fantasy tomorrow, August 24. Preorders for the game are available for a 10% discount on console and PC digital distribution platforms, but you can save even more by shopping at Fanatical and Green Man Gaming for a PC copy (Steam key).

Deluxe edition (Fanatical)Deluxe edition (GMG)Blasphemous 2 is available to preorder for $22.94 at Green Man Gaming and $23.39 at Fanatical. Meanwhile, the Deluxe edition is up for grabs for $30.59 at Green Man Gaming and $31.19 at Fanatical. Preorders from Fanatical come with a 5% off coupon to use on a future purchase as well as a free Steam game rated as "Very Positive."

If you opt for the Deluxe edition, you'll get a digital art book and the original soundtrack with your purchase.

In addition to PC, Blasphemous 2 will also be available for Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. If you want to play the upcoming sequel on console, check out our Blasphemous 2 preorder guide for details on digital and physical editions for those platforms.

Set in a strange new land, Blasphemous 2 sees the Penitent One return to an endless cycle of life, death, and resurrection. There are secrets to uncover, grotesque monsters to battle, and powerful bosses standing in your way as you explore more of the world around you. While the odds are always against you, there are more chances in Blasphemous 2 to customize and improve your skill set, along with several new unique weapons to wield against the heretics that stand in the way of you delivering final judgment.

The first game looked like a Genesis-era take on Dark Souls and Castlevania mixed with a Spanish Inquisition art direction, and for the sequel, developer The Game Kitchen has doubled down on this dark design.

Disclosure: GameSpot and Fanatical are both owned by Fandom.
