Gathering of Developers has announced that Blair Witch Volume One: Rustin Parr is now complete and will be ready to ship on September 27. The game uses the high level of visual detail and cinematic camera controls of the Nocturne engine in an attempt to replicate the spooky feel of last year's hit film, The Blair Witch Project. As Elspeth "Doc" Holiday, players will investigate the legend of the Blair Witch and encounter the reclusive killer from the movie.
Gathering of Developers will also release two other Blair Witch games - Blair Witch Volume 2: The Legend of Coffin Rock and Blair Witch Volume 3: The Elly Kedward Tale - later this fall.
