Activision has confirmed the development of a sequel to its action game Blade for multiple next-generation consoles. UK-based firm Mucky Foot, which is responsible for Urban Chaos, is developing the games.
"Activision is committed to partnering with the very best British developers," said Julian Lynn-Evans, vice president at Activision's European studios. "Mucky Foot is clearly one of the most innovative talents in our business, and I'm extremely pleased to have the opportunity to work with them."
"We are delighted that Activision has decided to work with Mucky Foot on this exciting new project," stated Mike Diskett, founder of Mucky Foot. "Activision's long-standing commitment to partnership and independent development, coupled with our vision as one of the preeminent game developers, will make for a winning combination."
No specific release dates have been announced at this time.
