Reports suggest that players are facing connectivity and login issues, and are unable to access various online services that Sony has to offer with PlayStation Network on one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Fortunately, the company has acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix.

The team is also investigating the delay in PlayStation Network account validation emails. “We are aware that some PSN account validation emails may be getting delayed today. Thanks for your patience as we investigate,” says the official Twitter support for PlayStation."

　　This outage comes on Black Friday, which is one of the busiest day of the year for online games and services, as millions of players unpack their brand new consoles, enjoy new games bought in sales, or simple enjoy playing their favorite video games. A significant amount of players are only trying to access PlayStation Network just to avail discounted content in a major sale that Sony is currently running on PlayStation Store. A message on the platform holder’s support page states that, "you may have some difficulty accessing features and products on the PlayStation Store. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.”
