Black Desert Online Adds The Deadly Dark Knight Class
Black Desert Online Adds The Deadly Dark Knight Class-October 2024
Oct 30, 2024 7:29 AM

Kakao Games just gave the word that the newest class for Black Desert Online, the Dark Knight, will become available on March 1st.

Starting today, players can select and customize their new Dark Knight prior to release using the Black Desert Online incredibly robust character creator. This will give you plenty of time to get her look just right considering you may be going to spend quite a few hours playing with this character.

The Dark Knight uses big sweeping strikes and plenty of area of effect attacks in order to take down her enemies.

Teased earlier this month, the Dark Knight hails from the ancient land of Kamasylvia, which she left after causing a large-scale disagreement among Kamasylvia inhabitants, after seeking out and using forbidden powers of darkness that extinguish natural forces. In battle, the Dark Knight mercilessly unleashes this terrifying skill, stripping the life force of her enemies by using her two-handed Kriegsmesser sword or her array of dark magic attacks. Even though her sword is cumbersome, she skillfully dances around her foes chaining her heavy attacks with ranged spells.

Players will also notice that they can receive an extra character slot for just 1 Loyalty, bringing the maximum number of character slots to 13 as part of the free update along with the Kamasylvia territory coming later for free as well.

Black Desert Online is out now on PC. The Dark Knight will be fully playable on March 1st. Newcomers can sign up for a 7-day free trial right here.  Players can save 30% off  the Travelers Package or 50% off the Explorer's Package up to March 12th.

In our review of Black Desert Online, we praised how it's consistent post-launch support made it something special to play:

Black Desert Online is the most refreshingly unique MMO around. Introducing many new game mechanics and ways to play in a world that's so exquisitely designed, with characters, building, monsters and even the weather all working together to make the best looking MMO to have ever been released, BDO is only really let down by the game's unwillingness and/or inability to properly explain its mechanics. The post-launch updates have been great so far and there's no reason to think the game won't keep improving.
