The Mass Effect team over at Bioware is quite notorious for teasing the upcoming Mass Effect Andromeda, and overnight the Andromeda producers took to Twitter to shake up the Mass Effect hype ahead of this E3.
The official announcement trailer for Mass Effect Andromeda was released during last year’s E3, but the teasing for the next Mass Effect installment had been well underway by then. In case you haven’t seen the announcement trailer (which we truly can’t believe), check it out below:
“While we aren’t ready to go into too many details just yet, as you saw in the trailer and can tell by the name, this game is very much a new adventure, taking place far away from and long after the events of the original trilogy. You will play a human, male or female, though that’s actually not the character you saw in the trailer (more on that later). You’ll be exploring an all-new galaxy, Andromeda, and piloting the new and improved Mako you saw. And through it all, you will have a new team of adventurers to work with, learn from, fight alongside of, and fall in love with”, reads last year’s official blog post from Bioware’s Aaryn Flynn and Yanick Roy.
Probably to stir up the Mass Effect hype ahead of the E3 event this month, Mass Effect producers Fabrice Condominas and Michael Gamble have taken to Twitter to tease how amazing the next Mass Effect is going to be.
On the day that prognosticating astronomers proclaim that the Andromeda galaxy will collide with the Milky Way Galaxy in a number of years, producer Condominas teases that the Andromeda Galaxy “is looking and playing better” every single day.
That was a good day in the life of Andromeda.
That galaxy is looking and playing way better every single day.

Producer on the Mass Effect Trilogy and Andromeda, Michael Gamble, followed up with a Tweet of his own, expressing that it’s an amazing feeling to see how the Mass Effect is breathing more and more life in the game.
It's such an amazing feeling, week over week, seeing the team breathe more and more life into this beautiful thing.

EA and Bioware will probably reveal more about Mass Effect Andromeda during EA’s own E3 event – EA Play. The next Mass Effect is expected to be released early 2017 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
