The PlayStation 2 version of Beyond Good and Evil shipped today, one week before the PC and Xbox editions of the game and three weeks ahead of the GameCube edition. The game retails for $49.99 and is rated "T" for Teen.
Developed by Rayman creator Michel Ancel at Ubisoft's internal French studio, Beyond Good & Evil follows a sci-fi heroine's investigation of an X Files-esque alien-government conspiracy. For more on the game, check out GameSpot's preview.
