Earlier this week, Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil creator Michel Ancel shared a new image on his Instagram profile, an image that seems to tease a new entry of the Beyond Good & Evil series. Not much else has been said on the matter, but a few hours ago yet another teaser image has been made available to mark a rather important day for Ubisoft as a whole.
The new image, which can be found right below, has been shared alongside a short caption, "Ready for the Fight", which hints at today's Ubisoft shareholder meeting today, where Vivendi might take further steps towards a takeover, something that would be a disaster, according to CEO Yves Guillemot.
Beyond Good & Evil 2 was revealed back in 2008, but not much else is known about the game other than the fact that it is still alive.
In many ways, BG&E is an inimitable game – it appeals to all generations of gamers and is an inspiration behind many of Ubisoft Montpellier’s past and future games. It’s still far too early to give many details about this new title, but what we can say is that while Michel and the team at Ubisoft Montpellier are working with the core tenets of BG&E, they’re developing something that aspires to push past the boundaries of a proverbial sequel and leverages next-gen technologies to deliver a truly surprising, innovative and exceptional game. The entire team is excited about the direction this extremely ambitious project is taking, and we’ll have more to share later, as it progresses.
With so many teasers coming in lately, we will probably hear more about this new Beyon Good & Evil game soon. We will keep you updated on the matter as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
