Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk will be releasing a memoir through publisher Random House on January 18, 2022, according to Deadline. The book, the title of which is Comedy Comedy Comedy Drama: A Memoir, will "address the highs and lows of showbiz, his legendary cult status as a comedian, and what it's like to reinvent a showbiz career after 50 and scale new heights."

　　Increasingly in interviews when discussing both the upcoming final season of Better Call Saul and the release of Nobody, his first starring role in an action movie, the writer and performer had mentioned how he's been seizing downtime during quarantine to finally hold still and finish the memoir. But what he hadn't mentioned was how close he was to finishing it, or as this news indicates--how relatively close it is to coming out. The "hilarious, heartfelt new memoir" from Odenkirk will also be available as an audiobook due to release simultaneously, read by the author and released via Penguin Random House Audio.

　　"Comedy Comedy Comedy Drama charts Odenkirk's winding journey from nowhere comedy clubs to drama and acting with a capital A," said Random House in its announcement. "Featuring never-before-seen photos, wild characters, and laugh-out-loud stories, all delivered with Python-esque wit and writing chops, Comedy Comedy Comedy Drama is sure to delight Odenkirk's longtime followers and introduce him to new fans of his dramatic work as an artist of incredible range and depth."

　　Odenkirk fans are also looking forward to the airing of Better Call Saul's final season, which he says he himself still has no idea how it will wind up ending the story. After considerable COVID delays, production finally got underway in New Mexico in March. All Odenkirk has said about what's ahead is that "the wheels come off" in Season 6, and the show "explodes in a million directions."
