Sony has released its monthly list of the best-selling games on the PlayStation Store for August, and the top of the charts (at least on consoles) come as no real surprise.
The PlayStation 4 list was topped by Diablo III's new Ultimate Evil Edition, the series' debut on current-gen consoles. This was followed by The Last of Us Remastered (also number two in July, when Injustice came out on top thanks to a sale) and a trio of new releases: Infamous: First Light, Madden NFL 15, and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.
Minecraft simply can't be toppled on PS3, it would seem. Its domination of the top spot every month since its release last December continued in August. (It'll be interesting to see what happens with it releasing on PS4 this month.) Curiously, Madden was the number nine game, compared with number four on PS4.
PlayStation Vita didn't have a lot of big releases in August, but one new game--Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment--made it to the top of the list, while the following two spots were occupied by older games that were on sale during the month: the God of War Collection and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z.
Check out the full lists below, and let us know what sticks out to you (as well as what you bought during August) in the comments below.
