  For the second week in a row, Electronic Arts' Battlefield 1942 took the top slot in the NPD retail charts. In fact, the best-seller list as a whole was more or less dominated by Electronic Arts, with a total of seven games from the publisher in the top 10. Despite EA's strong showing, Blizzard's Warcraft III stood firm in second place, and recent releases Mafia and Medieval: Total War also held their ground.
