Battlefield Bad Company 3 Might Be Launching in 2018 – Rumor-October 2024
Oct 21, 2024 3:03 PM

Battlefield Bad Company 3 might become a reality in Fall 2018. That's according to YouTuber AlmightyDaq, who already leaked Battlefield 1 ahead of its announcement.

In a new video posted yesterday, AlmightyDaq revealed that Battlefield Bad Company 3 is the Battlefield game that DICE is preparing to be launched in late 2018.

To begin with, he said that there won't be any of the loot box shenanigans we've recently seen in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II, which will be a nice start.

With regards to the setting, AlmightyDaq said that players can expect Vietnam and Cold War era weapons with greater customization options than the ones in Battlefield 1.

Support, Engineer, Assault and Recon have been confirmed as playable classes while vehicles such as LAVs, tanks, and helicopters will be featured. If the rumor is to be believed, though, Battlefield Bad Company 3 would scale back the action a bit compared to the latest games in the franchise, favoring "tighter gameplay" over "all-out warfare".

It is unclear whether that means a lower cap of players in a match (Bad Company 2 had 24 players on consoles and 32 on PC) or not. The official reveal is expected to happen at E3 2018 as usual, so we're still a long way off, but we'll keep you posted should any further rumors and leaks arise, of course.
