Black Isle Studios couldn't be happier with the success of Baldur's Gate selling well in the retail market and becoming GameSpot's RPG of the Year. To continue the buzz, Black Isle and Interplay will release Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast this spring.
Tales of the Sword Coast, developed by BioWare Corp, will take gamers through additional areas, introduce them to new characters, and give them new quests to complete. Your goal is to reach an island off the Sword Coast and unravel its mysteries before another evil comes to the coast. Another adventure will take player's teams to Durlag's Tower where they'll have the avoid a cache of sinister traps that have taken the lives of many previous adventurers.
The add-on title will require a full copy of Baldur's Gate and Windows 95/98. No price has been announced.
