An NVIDIA DLSS 3 Frame Generation mod is now available for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, bringing around 40% performance boost without some of the issues brought by AMD FSR 3 frame generation.
The mod was developed by well-known developer PureDark, who showcased the mod in a new video shared today. Used in conjunction with FSR 3 at the Quality preset, the mod brings around a 40% performance boost. With DLSS, the performance boost is a little below that offered by FSR 3 frame generation, but frame pacing seems to be more solid, reducing the interface stuttering issues seen with AMD frame generation tech enabled.
Interestingly enough, while Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora features the best implementation of AMD FSR 3 to date, its NVIDIA DLSS implementation seems to be flawed, lacking the correct depth info. You can learn more about the matter in the video below.
As for every NVIDIA DLSS 3 Frame Generation mod developed by PureDark, the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora mod is only available for Patreon subscribers. Other titles eventually received free versions of DLSS 3 Frame Generation mods, so a free option may become available in the future.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Amazon Luna.
