SYDNEY--In Australia, karaoke is king. Sony's latest addition to its popular SingStar range, SingStar Legends, topped the Aussie game sales charts this week, knocking down last week's number one--EA's The Sims 2: Pets--to second spot.

　　SingStar Legend's number one position in the overall charts for the week of October 30 to November 5 capped off an impressive week for the PS2, with seven of the top 10 games belonging to Sony's current-gen console, according to data trackers GfK Australia. Canis Canem Edit (known as Bully in the US) for the PS2 secured third spot, with The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning from Australian studio Krome landing at number five.

　　Sony's Buzz series of trivia games was the other big winner, with three Buzz games making the top 10. Nintendo's DS had two entries in the overall charts, while the Xbox 360 crashed out this week with no top 10 inclusions.
