Australian computer game developer, Auran, the force behind Dark Reign: The Future of War, has signed a "multimillion dollar deal" with Electronic Arts. The deal will give Auran the rights to copublish its follow-up to Dark Reign internationally.
Graham Edelsten, Auran director, particularly touted the copublishing agreement, saying that it would give his company "significant creative control in the development, production, and marketing of the game."
The game, as yet untitled, will be a strategy-adventure-role-playing hybrid, "based on a new game engine currently being created by Auran."
