The latest iteration of Madden is hitting Australian shores this week on the Xbox 360, Wii, and PlayStation 3. This time around, EA Sports has added in a new co-op online play mode, a new animation technology that will see even bigger tackles, and an online Franchise mode for up to 32 players. Like all EA games, there's no firm release date for Madden NFL 10--retailers are allowed to release it as soon as they receive stock.
On the other side of the sports games seesaw is Ashes Cricket 2009. It already came out on the PS3 last week, but it's the PC and Xbox 360's turn this Friday. Ashes Cricket 2009 features 18 stadiums, fully licensed teams, and various modes to play, including shorter Twenty20 matches. Ashes Cricket 2009 is due out this Friday for the PC and Xbox 360.
