Among some of the things we have yet to learn about Assassin's Creed Origins, the new entry in the series launching soon on PC and consoles in all regions, are the modern day sequences, which have been somewhat hinted at in the past few weeks but never outright confirmed. A recent finding, however, seems to suggest that they will be in the game.
In a fresh video shared on YouTube by PythonSelkan, it's possible to see a modern day Abstergo soldier artwork in the Assassin's Creed Origins Dawn of the Creed edition art book, which was on display during Gamescom 2017 last week. While this isn't an official confirmation, it's likely that modern day sequences will play some role in the game's story, something that will definitely make fans of the series happy.
Earlier this week, more Assassin's Creed Origins footage emerged online, showcasing the Memphis area. Another video from earlier this week showcased the game's RPG elements and how they will spice up the late game content.
Assassin's Creed Origins launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 27th. The game will come complete with Xbox One X enhancements such as increased drawing distance, faster transitions and more.
