On July 16, Microsoft offered 300 positions on its Age of Empire II: Age of Kings real-time strategy title and ended up receiving over 160,000 entries from gamers hoping to catch a glimpse of an early build of the game as well as aiding Ensemble Studios in perfecting its title.
