The Anthem E3 2018 gameplay demo that EA showed off at the event, was running on two NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti GPUs, instead of a single 1080 Ti.
At least, that’s what the game’s executive producer, Mark Darrah, has stated on Twitter when asked about the GPU used at this year’s E3 event.
“It was 2 1080Tis”, Darrah wrote. “”It was running 4K [resolution] 60 [fps]”
So far, both EA and GeForce have only mentioned that a single NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti was used to run the demo in 4K, but it now appears that in two cards were used – quite a difference. We've included the exclusive E3 2018 gameplay footage below:
Based on this setup, some fans are worried about the specs required to properly run the upcoming title in 4K @ 60FPS, but Darrah reassured that the team will keep optimizing the game until shipment.
We will be optimizing right up until ship https://t.co/P4ODZaQPbX
