Bioware’s Anthem will be getting a beta, game director Jonathan Warner has confirmed.

　　As the upcoming RPG is still far away from being released, Warner said that more details about the beta will be shared when the time is right. “Yeah we'll have a beta! #PrepareForAdventure”, Warner wrote on Twitter. “Remember, we are still a distance out. Too soon for details but will provide more when the time is right”, he added in a follow-up Tweet.

　　At this point, it’s uncertain whether we’re looking at a closed or open beta for the multiplayer action role-playing title. We will keep you updated as soon as we learn more.

　　In Anthem, a new shared-world action-RPG from EA's BioWare studio, team up with friends as Freelancers—the bold few with the courage to leave civilization behind and explore a landscape of primeval beauty.

　　Wield an arsenal of Javelin exosuits, each equipped with unique weapons and abilities. Band together with friends, confront the dangers you find, and grow in power with every step.

　　Anthem was officially announced during EA’s EA Play E3 2017 conference, and Xbox One X gameplay was shown during Microsoft’s press briefing.

　　The game is slated for a release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in late 2018.
