Philippine indie game developer Anino Entertainment has today announced the launch of Anito: Defend a Land Enraged. The adventure role-playing game, which was recently confirmed as a finalist in this year's Independent Games Festival, is set in the fantasy world on Moroka--based on 16th-century Asia during the Age of Conquest.
Players will assume the role of either Maya or Agila--two siblings whose father, Datu Maktan, has gone missing. Gameplay in Anito: Defend a Land Enraged will be largely combat-based, with players able to employ melee and ranged weapons as well as powerful charka skills to battle Asian monsters such as the tikbalang and the muwa.
Anito: Defend a Land Enraged is available for $20 from Anino Entertainment's official Web site.
