Still hot on after the release of R-Types for the PlayStation, AGETEC announced its upcoming "adventure game with soul" for the PlayStation, Echo Night.

　　Being developed by From Software, Echo Night takes place circa 1937. The player controls Richard Osmond, who receives a key from his father. The key unlocks a doorway, which that lets him travel through time. The game places Osmond on a journey through ten locations on a ghost ship, a gold mine, and an old-fashioned casino as he solves puzzles, uncovers the mystery of the talisman stones, and helps lost souls find eternal peace.

　　"What differentiates Echo Night is a top-notch storyline that becomes more addictive the more you play," said Mark Johnson, producer for Echo Night. "Additionally, in an effort to draw the player in, there has been a tremendous amount of effort in producing an ambient soundtrack and making voice-overs an integral part of the game."

　　When the game releases this summer, it will features more than 50 puzzles and minigames, more than 50 objects to discover 40 characters to interact with, as well as Dual Shock support, and multiple endings.
