All Elite Wrestling came into existence at the beginning of 2019, and after three PPV events, people have been wondering when the wrestling promotion will get a weekly show. Months ago, TNT announced that AEW will be getting an unnamed weekly series later in the year, but it's been pretty quiet since then. Most recently, TNT revealed fans would be getting the new show this October.

　　On Wednesday, October 2 at 8 PM ET, AEW's weekly programming will premiere live on the network. As detailed in a press release, each episode of the new series will air for two hours, and the very first one will take place in Washington D.C. at the Capital One Arena. Ticket on-sale date and pricing for the inaugural event will be announced on Monday, July 29 at 12 PM ET on AEW's social media platforms, such as the company's main Twitter and AEW on TNT accounts.

　　The announcement also featured a video reveal, highlighting this past year's accomplishments for the wrestling promotion. This includes the press conferences and events which have begun to take place monthly like Double or Nothing, Fyter Fest, and Fight for the Fallen. Check it out below.

　　What sets AEW apart from other wrestling promotions is that the company is run by wrestlers, with the backing of President, CEO, and wrestling fan Tony Kahn. Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), and Kenny Omega serve as executive vice presidents for the company and Brandi Rhodes serves as chief brand officer. The company features plenty of familiar faces for longtime wrestling fans--aside from the aforementioned. Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley (formerly Dean Ambrose in WWE), Awesome Kong (Kharma), Shawn Spears (Tye Dillinger) and Dustin Rhodes (Goldust) all perform in the promotion with legendary commentator Jim Ross joining the fold as well.

　　However, AEW isn't just about bringing in former WWE talent. All Elite Wrestling highlights some of the best performers from around the world from Japan to Mexico to the United States, and that includes prehistoric dinosaurmen being ridden by boys from the jungle. Additionally, the past two PPV events were streamed for free on Bleacher Report Live, and while that most likely won't continue once the TNT series begins, it's been nice to see a company offering its services to those around the world for free. For those looking for something different in wrestling, AEW may be perfect for them, when the weekly series starts on October 2 on TNT.
