Acclaim Sports announced on Tuesday that it will sponsor supercross rider John Dowd during the 2000 supercross and motocross racing seasons. Part of the sponsorship will include Dowd wearing the Acclaim Sports logo on his jersey, pants, and visor. Also, Dowd will appear in the upcoming Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 for the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, and Game Boy Color this Spring.
The supercross season begins on January 8 in Anaheim, California.
