If you needed more games to play or another subscription service to manage, Electronic Arts is giving away one full month of its proprietary membership, EA Access, for $1 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
From now until Monday, June 29, anyone interested in giving EA Access a go can do so for just $1 on all the major platforms. This means you can get a full 12-months of EA Access for as little as $12 instead of the usual $30 price tag. You just have to head over to the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or Origin Store to sign-up for 30 days of the subscription service, which normally retails for $5.

Now Playing: EA Announces Star Wars: Squadrons
It's worth noting that signing for Origin Access--EA's subscription service on PC--only gives you access to the subscription service's Basic membership. EA Access' Basic subscription lets you try a 10-hour trial of upcoming games and access the Basic Vault of available titles on the service, but doesn't come with any additional in-game content. The Premier membership, which costs $15 a month of $99 a year, removes all of those restrictions.
In other EA Access news, the subscription service is officially headed to Steam. While a launch date has yet to be disclosed, a handful of EA-published titles--such as Dragon Age 2, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Need for Speed Heat, and others--are already available on the digital storefront. Some of these games are heavily discounted from now until July 9 as well.
EA recently unveiled a cinematic trailer for its new Star Wars game, Star Wars: Squadrons. The game--which is an aerial dogfighter that will hit PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 2--will feature cross-play, no microtransaction, and a single-player campaign. Though EA is withholding a gameplay reveal until EA Play 2020 on June 18, Star Wars: Squadrons pre-orders are already live.
