The latest spinoff of the Yellowstone television universe is 1923, which debuted in early January. The show takes place 100 years before Paramount Network's hit series, which is set on John Dutton's Yellowstone Ranch. 1923, however, follows Jacob Dutton and his wife Cara as they deal with America's western expansion, the Great Depression, and Prohibition. Here's everything you need to know to watch the series.
1923 stars Harrison Ford as Jacob and Helen Mirren as Cara--the great-great-great uncle and aunt of Kevin Costner's John Dutton III from Yellowstone. The couple are raising their nephews--John I and Spencer--as their own.
This is the second spin-off from the main series, and it is created by Taylor Sheridan--the mind behind 1883, and Yellowstone. He also plays cowboy and horse trainer Travis Wheatley on Yellowstone. 1923 also features Brandon Sklenar, Julia Schlaepfer, Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, and more.

Currently, Paramount+ costs $5 a month (ad-supported) for the Essential plan or $10 a month (ad-free) for the Premium plan. The other difference between the two tiers is that the Premium tier allows you to download shows to watch later and you also get access to your local CBS station.
There is a discount if you pay for it annually, with Essential costing $50 a year ($4.17 a month) and Premium costing $100 ($8.33 a month). You can also add on Showtime for $12 a month (Essential) or $15 a month (Premium), with discounts if you purchase it annually.
After the season of 1923 wraps, there's a good chance you'll be able to purchase the show on various online retailers like iTunes, Vudu, and more. Both 1883 and Yellowstone have been available for purchase on these services, shortly after seasons wrapped.
1923 returns to the Paramount streaming service with Episode 5 on Sunday, February 5. There will be eight episodes, in total, leading to the season finale on February 26.
