XING Entertainment is planning a November release of its new PlayStation game called Asuncia: Strategic Fantasy Role Playing Game. The company hopes to take role-playing games to a level that hasn't successfully been reached yet on a console, combining pure military strategy with the gripping storyline and action of a console RPG.

　　After a failed assassination attempt, the continent of Asuncia breaks out into civil war. Unfortunately, one of the sides tries to revive a devil-king to help its cause. This will turn the world into ruin and lapse it into an age of evil. The player and his group of warriors enter into battle, and that's where the game exhibits just how different it is from other military sims.

　　Each time the game is played, the scenarios change, so that the player won't experience the same battle twice. After each battle, the player is evaluated and given a score based on his strategy and the amount of time it took to complete the scene.

　　The design and production of Asuncia are being overseen by the same designer responsible for the Hylide series. There's no word at this time as to whether the game will be released in the US.
